Study Abroad

It's official, I'm going to Amman! I got the call a week ago, and it's been completely busy and hectic ever since! I'm leaving on JAN 19, and I come back sometime after May 30 (2007). I honestly can't say I've ever been this excited before. Anyway, besides the loads of paperwork, there's nothing really to report on yet. I'll keep the blog up to date on it.

This is pretty exciting! I might be attending the University of Jordan at Amman next semester for Study Abroad. I'd be attending for their language program, as well as a cultural experience. Anyway, I'm still completing the application package (quite a bit of paperwork!). But I'll post updates on all that as they come.

Hello! It is Steph. Just checking this all out. :)

I realized that on all of the photo CD's Lauren made for everyone, I wrote the url for our blog, along with the login name and password (login: winkler_family password: winkler)...but from the actual URL written on the CD, you cannot login.

If you go to www.blogspot.com, and then sign in, you are free to post anything you would like.

Just wanted to make sure I didn't confuse anyone!

(If you are, just let Lauren or I know...or watch her wonderful tutorial she so graciously made :) )

This is Lauren here starting up a blog for our great family! Let's keep each other posted on the goings on in our lives.


I can't wait to see what everyone posts! Feel free to put photos in the posts, but if you have quite a few, I'd recommend to create an online photo gallery on site specifically designed for it like www.photobucket.com. Then, you can make a link in your blog post that goes directly to that photo album!

I've created a tutorial on how to log into this blog site and make a post. The file is actually much bigger than I anticipated, so it might take a long time to load. I'll try to make another, smaller tutorial when I get a chance. If you'd like to try to watch this tutorial, I'd recommend to right click on the following link and then "open in a new window": TUTORIAL.
If there is no sound, it might be because the file size is simply to huge. If you don't want to wait until I get around to making another tutorial, you can always email me for the login name and password and simple instructions at lauren.wells@gmail.com.
